Membership Committee

Membership is a standing committee of the Session and is chaired by Elder Warren Deal. Its stated purpose is to provide the church with programs to support our existing membership and to reach out to visitors and friends.

The Membership Committee meets on the first Sunday of each month immediately following the 11:00 a.m. service. Anyone who would like to volunteer your time is welcome to attend!

The Membership Team offers many opportunities for you to participate and volunteer. Just look at the Fellowship Activities page on the menu for ideas. Here are some of the more popular opportunities:

Weekly greeters at the 11 o'clock service
Telephone contact and visitation with visitors
Contributors to the monthly newsletter
Fellowship sports: softball, volleyball and golf
Congregational breakfasts, luncheons and Harvest Festival
Sunday morning coffee
Prayer chain
Men's Prayer Breakfast
Women's Circles
Hospital Visitation
Chancel drama
New Member Sponsor
New Member Class Fellowship Dinner
