Today’s flowers were given by Ron & Joyce Duke in honor of their grandchildren.

MOW (Mission Opportunity of the Week: Volunteer to read to or do some correspondence for someone who is homebound or in a nursing home.

The Food Baskets will be passed during the offering. Please take one or more slips of paper, purchase the item(s) listed, and return them next Sunday to the box near the elevator. All items will be given to the Salvation Army’s Food Bank. Thank you!

Wanted Director of Children’s Choir!!! We need a Director for the Children’s Choir. The practice will meet every week on Tuesday before TeamKid. The practice will begin at 4:15 until 4:45. If you think God is calling you to help with the position, please call Linda Edvar or Pastor Doug at the church office, 693-2071. Thank you!

ADULT EDUCATION CLASSES RESUME NEXT SUNDAY: There are many opportunities for adults to learn together on Sunday mornings: Basic Bible Class led by LuAnn Nagel will be studying the book of Romans; The Mixed Adult Class is beginning its study on "BE BITTER OR BETTER"; Join the Contemporary Discussion group; or The SonSeekers - a group for younger singles and couples; or The Men's Bible Class. All adult classes are held in the New Wing and all welcome newcomers. COME AND GROW WITH US!

 SNYF (Sunday Noon Youth Fellowship) This great program begins Sunday, September 26 with a meeting with parents and youth at noon to hear what is being planned for the coming year, If you have a 6th grader just entering middle school, please be sure to attend and get acquainted with the program and its leaders.Members of the congregation are asked to provide lunch for the youth, each of the Sundays they meet. There is a signup sheet on the CE table in the Narthex.

 T EAM KID This fun and exciting mid-week program will begin in October - TUESDAYS, BEGINNING OCTOBER 12. Wednesdays from 4:15 - 6:30 pm. The program is designed for children in kindergarten thru grade 5. We are looking for folks to serve in leadership - teaching, assisting, snack preparation, recreation, etc. Speak with Linda Edvar or Pastor Doug if you can help us

We begin with a pancake breakfast at 9:00 am and continue with a program at 10 am.
